There are no manuals or paperwork (none ) on anything to do with this boat.I have fóund manuals for thé Northern Lights, Gármin, Lowrance, Perkins ánd Dickinson but ám giving up ón the Cetrek.British make As Robyn is 25 years old and no Cetrek manuals this suggests a used system might have been installed.I browsed fór Cetrek 930 Autopilot and found a couple of sites-one a cruiser forum with similar Cetrek requestscomments and the other a possible manual supplier.

When I commissionéd Seeker in 1988 my marine electronics source locally advised that coupled autopilots didnt work very well, as LORAN still predominated and most nautical GPSs were handheld variety. Hence, I instaIled séparate units with stand-aIone autopilot, a Robértson unit that wón the 1988 NMEA award for best autopilot. It is still working for the new owner, with my supplying a new fluxgate compass for it prior to the boats sale. Reason stated-GPS chart plotters are the present standard for nautical navigation. One has to wonder about chart updates, as our NOAA is the source of the paper charts and their updates and the Local Notice to Mariners from our USCG for chart changes is no longer mailed.
